Weekend one - 5th and 6th October

5th October - Meet at Sutton House (2 & 4 Homerton High St, E9 6JQ) at 11am and then travel together to Arcola Theatre (24 Ashwin Street, E8 3DL) Please let us know if you don't have an oyster card/ freedom pass so we can make sure we have one for you.

Group will see matinee of the play 'MUSHY: LYRICALLY SPEAKING'. Participants will go home from Arcola Theatre after the matinee is finished (time TBC, but probably between 4pm and 5pm)

6th - Sutton House 11am - 4pm

Participants will create, direct and perform their own short performances, inspired by elements of the performance we saw the day before

Weekend two - 16th and 17th November

16th - 11am - 4pm at The Old Church (Stoke Newington Church Street, N16 9ES) We will be exploring theatrical lighting and sound design, and using the scripts from weekend one to create a performance

17th - 11am - 4pm (with a sharing for families and friends probably at about 3pm) at The Old Church (Stoke Newington Church Street, N16 9ES)More sound and lighting design and rehearsing our performance

We would love it if people were able to attend both weekends, but it is ok if you can only do one weekend, however it is essential you are able to come to the Saturday AND Sunday of whichever weekends you attend

All Hackney Shed Collective projects are free (including the tickets to see the show on the 5th), however donations are always gratefully received and if you are able to make a donation and would like to do so there is a link at the bottom of this email.
